First time eating here. Our server was super nice and helpful. The place has a very home-y feeling. I got the 1/3 lb. Viking Russian burger with hash browns and it was DELICIOUS. Burger is on the crispy side, with super crunchy bacon and cheese. Mmm! The servers come by and fill up your drink without you having to wave them down. Very attentive and quick. The atmosphere was nice as well and it seemed quite clean. Overall it was a very enjoyable visit and I will definitely be coming back to try the breakfast!
Awesome place with classic cafe charm. The people were friendly and incredibly efficient, the food was really, really good! I had the eggs benedict and would highly recommend. Be sure to order a side of bacon, you will be glad you did.
Amazing food, impeccable service! The bacon was, by far, the best bacon I've ever had! My husband said his breakfast was the best he's ever had as well, having ordered corned beef and hash, a pancake, and a side of extra bacon. Love the menu names, too, as well as the decor. I ate the Viking Cali Russian Burger (California with bacon), and it was in my top three fave burgers of all time. We will be returning EVERY time we come up to visit family! Highly recommend!
Super great local cafe!!! Old Norwegian atmosphere mixed with classic small town cafe. Breakfast is that comfort food style greatness and the daily specials make you feel like "everything is gonna be okay". I could just sit there all day drinking coffee and evesdrop on all the old stories being told. 😁
An incredibly clean and cozy diner. It's obvious they take pride in their cafe, their customers and your coffee cup always being full. The prices are so reasonable. I'm not sure how they manage to keep prices so fair, but I'm here for it. I had coffee and a traditional eggs, hash browns, sausage links and toast breakfast. It was all cooked perfectly and delicious. The hash browns are served with a good deal of butter on top, so if you don't like that you might want to ask to leave it off. I absolutely recommend this spot if you're in the area.
My first visit, brought my family 👪 of six kids for breakfast. Was unsure what we'd experience but was definitely impressed! Curbside, 2-hr. parking. Rustic, cozy, small-town diner ambience. Friendly and fast service. The portions are ample, much larger than the photos on the menu indicates! This will not be our last time to visit!!

This is the best diner in the region. Starting from the atmosphere, staff friendliness, speed, coffee and cleanliness. My wife said it was cleanest bathroom she has ever seen in a restaurant. The food was awesome and it came out quick. It is just what you expect and more when you go to a diner. I will recommend this place to family and friends. The best part is that the prices are not high. Try the homemade maple syrup. It is awesome. I never saw the bottom part of my cup of coffee cause they are so quick to top off your coffee. A+ establishment here
Very rustic and quaint. Definitely a local taste but was so refreshing compared to all these corporate/big name restaurants. We are heading towards Alaska. Best food we have ate in 1500 miles. Worth the stop! The portions are "Viking" size and taste wonderful!!
If you were in Fergus falls you're doing yourself a great disservice if you do not get breakfast or lunch from this place the service staff was wonderful gave us a history and breakdown of the place food was quick and delicious exactly what classic Americana should be help to make me and my fiance weekend Hope it is there another 50 years
